SELECTION CRITERIA: In accordance with Texas Education Code as amended, Lindale Independent School District shall evaluate all proposals based on the following weighted selection criteria:

1.The purchase price 30%
2. The reputation of the vendor and of the vendors goods or services 20%
3. The quality of the vendors goods or services 20%
4. The vendors past relationship with the district and/or architect 10%
5. Specific experience in public schools of the scope of the proposed project 10%
6. Proximity of Proposers home office to Lindale ISD 10%

Lindale I.S.D. will select the offeror that offers the best value for the District based on the above-published selection criteria and on its ranking evaluation. In determining best value for the District, the District is not restricted to considering price alone but may consider any other factor stated in the selection criteria.

Lindale I.S.D. reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts of proposals

INVITATION TO BID

Proposals for the WISD HS Re-Roof MEP Bid Package will be received until 2:00 pm on March 1, 2018. Proposals will be accepted by email ( bid@wrl-gc.com ), mail or in person at the office of the Construction Mgr., WRL General Contractors, 10858 FM 346 W, Flint, TX 75762. There will be a pre bid meeting held on site at the WRL job trailer on February 22, 2018 at 10 AM.

Proposals will be based on a single lump sum contract for individual work elements. Combination of work elements will be considered, however, proposer must submit work elements individually and as a combination proposal. Proposals will be awarded based upon the following criteria which are not necessarily in order of importance:

1. Purchase price

2. Past performance

3. Safety record

4. Reputation of vendor and of vendors goods/services

5. Quality of vendors goods/services

6. Vendor past relationship with ISD, CM, and Architect

7. Any other relevant factor that a private business entity would consider in selection of a vendor

WRL and Whitehouse ISD reserve the right to award the contract on any basis deemed in their best interest and reserve the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any formalities.

One set of contract documents may be obtained from WRL for a refundable deposit of $200 payable to WRL on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Deposits will be refunded to proposers who return the documents in good condition within 10 days after CMs notice to proceed.

NOTICE OF REQUIREMENT TO COMPLY WITH THE SUBDIVISION AND SERVICE EXTENSION POLICY OF STAR MOUNTAIN WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION/SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT

Pursuant to Chapter 13.2502 of the Texas Water Code, Star Mountain Water Supply Corporation herby gives notice that any person who sudivides land by dividing any lot, tract, or parcel of land, within the service area of Star Mountain Water Supply Corporation, Certificate of Convenience and Necessity No. 11720, in Smith County, into two or more lots or sites for the purpose of sale or development, whether immediate or future, including re-subdivision of land for which a plat has ben filed and recorded or requests more than two water or sewer service connection on a single contiguous tract of land must comply with the Developer, Subdivision, and Non-Standard Service Requirements (Section F. contained in Star Mountain Water Supply Corporations tariff.

Star Mountain Water Supply Corporation is not required to extend retail water or sewer utility service to a service applicant in a subdivision where the developer of the subdivision has failed to comply with the Subdivision Policy.

Applicable elements of the Subdivision include:

Evaluation by Star Mountain Water Supply Corporation of the impact a proposed subdivision service extension will make on Star Mountain Water Supply Corporations water supply/ sewer service system and payment of the costs for this evaluation;

Payment of reasonable costs or fees by the developer for providing water supply/sewer service capacity;
