CHANDLER Virginia Ann McAskill McMeans was born January 6, 1940 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She had been a resident of Chandler for 17 years. She was a loving mother and Christian. She loved helping other people, and always had a big smile on her face.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Albert McMeans, Sr.; daughters, Sherri (Jim) Kovesci of Indiana, and Barbara (Johnny) Fisher of Frankston; son, John A (Espie) McMeans Jr. of Chandler; two sisters, Nona Greenhill and Ollie Barrows; grandchildren, Misty Lynn (Richie) Tillema, Jeremy (Laura) Orcutt, Jennifer Orcutt, Jimmy (Kayla) Kovesci, Johnny Lee (Brittany) Fisher, Becky (Stephan) Gross, Laura (Brian) Torrez, Joshua (Sidney) McMeans; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Virginia passed away at the age of 79 on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Tyler, due to injuries sustained from an auto accident. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nona Burris and father, John Hugh McAskill.
There will be a CELEBRATION OF LIFE at a future date. All memorial tributes should be made to St. Jude Hospital.

Tiffany loved her daughter with everything she had. She loved traveling, Doritos, queso and Dr. Pepper. Her faith was important to her and she was a member of Acton Baptist Church.
Tiffany is survived by her daughter Aliya Webster, parents: Tim and Tammie Webster, brother: Cody Webster and wife Gina, grandmother: Betty Webster, aunt: Debra Harrison and husband Glenn, uncle: Danny McClure and wife Louann, aunt: Debbie Eason, aunt: Rhonda Webster, nieces and nephews: Ashley, Haylei, Wyatt, and Aidan, and numerous cousins and friends.

Charles Edward Roberts
LINDALE Charles Edward Roberts, age 84, passed away in his home on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Charles was born January 14, 1935 to Leslie and Myrtle Roberts.
Charles was a great man, a loving and devoted husband and a proud father of two beautiful daughters. Everyone who knew him enjoyed their time with him, mostly because he was so funny. He belonged to the Tyler Masonic Lodge #1233 and was a retired police officer for the Houston Police Department. Charles will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Dollie Mae Roberts; two daughters, Terrie Lynn Gleman and Bobbie Jean Kerrigan and many other family members and friends.

Mrs. Greer passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Tyler. She was born December 13, 1934 in Rusk County to the late Mabel Everett Rob and Lydia Lilly Pee Wee Taylor Robertson and worked as a parts manager for Hale Motor Company in Henderson for 17 years. She loved doing woodwork and building furniture and she was a member of the Overton Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Greer was also preceded in death by two husbands, Don Ray Vinson and Leland Tex Greer; a sister Evelyn Mae Davis and a brother JD Robertson.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Vinson of New London and Mark Vinson of Henderson; three granddaughters, Lillian Musetta Vinson, Evelyn Gaynell Vinson and Emily Merryweather Vinson; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Overton Missionary Baptist Church, 111 North Street, Overton, TX 75684.

Arthur Fredrick Faulkner
AUSTIN Arthur Fredrick Faulkner, age 91, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 7, 2019 surrounded by loving family in Austin, Texas. He was born May 29, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri. Formerly of Hideaway Lake, Arthur had been a long-time resident of Tyler. He was a member of Christ Church Episcopal.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Frederick Faulkner and Nellie Hester Faulkner; his sister, Lola Hester Faulkner; his brother, Allen Edward Faulkner; a sister, Opal May Faulkner French; and his wife of 44 years, Patsy Ruth Peters Faulkner. He married Patsy on 28 Aug 1948 in Alva, Oklahoma after serving in the Korean War. Afterwards Arthur majored in Drama from Northwestern State College in Alva, Oklahoma and was a member of Alpha Psi Omega. He taught English, Speech and Debate with his final teaching position at Adamson High School, Dallas, where his Debate team won many championships. He went on to work for Commerce Clearing House, beginning in sales and eventually becoming Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the western half of the US. Arthur retired from CCH in 1991 having spent 33 years with the company. Arthur married Barbara Glass Richardson on September 16, 1993 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Arthur loved to play Duplicate Bridge, Golf, Dominoes and was a member of Willowbrook Country Club in Tyler, Texas. He loved singing, acting, fishing, travel and visiting family and friends.
Arthur is survived by wife Barbara of Tyler; he and Patsys children Gary and wife Melissa, Austin, Texas; Dr. Jeffrey A. Faulkner and wife Cindy, Floresville, Texas; William Faulkner and wife Heidi, Sebastopol, Calif; Sue Faulkner, Tyler; and Tracy Faulkner Drott and husband Greg, San Antonio; Sally and Weldon Combs, II and Suzanne and Robert Sherman; grandchildren Michelle Faulkner Felux, Julie Faulkner, Blake Faulkner, Jonathon Faulkner and Andrew Faulkner, Christopher Faulkner, Kathy Gattis Honeycutt, Jazzlyn Williams Rimmer, Kalee Williams, T. J. Williams; Roxy Williams, Jamie Williams Altrup, Stacy Williams Gardner, Justin Kingery, Jacob Clark Kingery, Alison Stalsworth, Weldon Combs, III and Kelly Melanie Sherman; great-grandchildren Emily Felux, Avery Faulkner, Allison Faulkner, Lylah Faulkner, Zach Faulkner, Aryann Suggs, Jack Suggs, Marllie Rimmer, Amelie Altrup, Maren Altrup, Mila Gardner, Charles Gardner; sisters Faye Parsons, Nellie Ann Rhodes, Linda Garner; and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
A memorial service is planned for Monday, November 18th at the Christ Church Episcopal in Tyler, Texas at 2:00PM with the Rev. David Luckenbach officiating. Arthurs final resting place will be in Alva, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Christ Church Episcopal, 118 South Bois dArc, Tyler, Texas 75702.

John Dee Jack Stringer
BULLARD Jack Stringer passed on November 8, 2019 surrounded by his loving children. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 15 with a viewing at Jacksons Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home in Tyler at 12:30 PM, followed by a grave side service at 3:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Jack was born in Tyler, Texas on October 7, 1939 to Curtis and Doris Stringer. He was raised in Tyler, Texas and graduated from Tyler High School. After high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and proudly served as a part of the First Force Recon Unit. After he was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, he went on to study at The University of Texas at Austin where he received his bachelors degree. He then moved back to Tyler and went on to obtain a masters degree from the University of Texas in Tyler. Jack continued taking courses for the next several years and was a few classes shy of completing his PhD. During this time, he raised his beloved children, Trey, Randy, Courtney, Stephanie and Curtis.
Jack spent his professional life as an avid homebuilder in the Tyler area, where he was known for the house(s) that Jack built. He was an active member of Marvin United Methodist Church where he was a Deacon and a member of the Friendly and Seekers Class. After his retirement from homebuilding, he went on to become a school bus driver and substitute teacher for the Tyler Independent School District until his retirement in 2018. Well before his retirement from Tyler ISD, Jack moved to Bullard where he was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Bullard.
Jack was known as an avid fan of Texas Longhorn football. He also had his private pilots license, held a brokers license, was a member of the Shriners International and the family has wonderful memories of his involvement with the Tyler Rose Festival.
Jack will be greatly missed by his family, including his children, Trey Stringer, of Plano, Randy Stringer, of Austin, Courtney Stringer, of Bullard, Stephanie Fishel and her husband Brad of San Antonio, and Curtis Stringer, of Austin. He was adored by his grandchildren, Sabre Stringer, Christian Stringer, Marley Fishel and Chloe Fishel, Easton Stringer, and Brady Stringer.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, The American Cancer Society or the First United Methodist Church of Bullard.
Pallbearers will be Trey Stringer, Randy Stringer, Curtis Stringer, Christian Stringer, Bradley Fishel, and Jonathan Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sabre Stringer, Marley Fishel, Chloe Fishel, Easton Stringer, and Brady Stringer.
